As per the notification by the Chhattisgarh Government any eligible individual who seeks to attain the benefits for registration and various other schemes and plans to be implemented in future under the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (Labour Department) shall be required to provide the proof of possession of the Aadhaar or undergo Aadhaar authentication. If an individual is entitled for and is willing to avail the benefits but hasn’t obtained Aadhaar under section 3 of the Aadhaar Act, 2016, he can apply for Aadhaar enrolment to get enrolled for Aadhaar. However, even without the assignment of Aadhaar, an individual may be entitled to the benefits and schemes if the required documents as enumerated in the notification is furnished by him.
Also, to facilitate this system and provide a hassle-free access of these benefits to the workers the notifications mandates the creation of certain arrangements which include advertisements and notice publications to make people aware about the requirements of Aadhaar to avail the schemes and benefits.
