The Philippines’ Department of Labor and Employment recently launched the National Occupational Safety and Health (NOSH) Strategy, focusing on improved labor safety practices across the country. Presented during the 2024 Labor Inspection Summit, the strategy aligns with the ILO's guidelines on workplace safety. Developed with support from the US Department of Labor and ILO, the NOSH strategy aims to reduce workplace accidents, promote safe labor conditions, and ensure that Filipino workers in all sectors are protected under standardized health and safety regulations.
