Tonga Advances Toward National Employment Policy

With ILO support, Tonga is developing its first National Employment Policy (NEP). A November 2024 workshop gathered input from government, labor, and civil society to refine the draft. The NEP aims to address employment challenges, improve labor market outcomes, and promote decent work in the country.
